Announcements

These are exciting days!  We are growing and we need to make more room so more people can come and hear about Jesus!  As I announced on Sunday morning, the Elder Board and the Church Board are in unanimous agreement that we are in need of 2 Worship Services on Sunday mornings.  STARTING ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11^th we will be offering 2 Sunday Worship Services: 

• The 1^st Service will be at 9am.
• The 2^nd Service will be at 10:30am.

Why are we doing this?  We want Bella Vista to be the easiest place in America to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ and to become a disciple of His. Our 10:15 worship service is getting so full (a good problem to have!) that we need to make more room for folks to join in.  The most efficient, most inexpensive and best way to make more room is to add a second service.

Have you been Baptized as a Believer?  Do you want to publicly proclaim your belief in Jesus Christ?  On Sunday, August 21st during the 10:15 Worship Service, we will be Celebrating the Baptisms of any and all Believers In Jesus who want to joyfully take this important step of Discipleship.  Please let us know no later than August 17^th if you want to be baptized on August 21st.

Welcome Home Membership Class offered by Pastor Al, please sign up via connection card, email, phone.  There are 2 more classes remaining of learning about VBC, 9am, Sunday mornings (8/7, 8/14).  Please let us know if your interested – available space is limited.

 “Welcome Home” Visitation - We are needing volunteers for this on-going ministry!  This is a great opportunity for our church family to Welcome new BV residents as well as provide them with information about our church home and the BV area.  We will knock on the doors of the new BV residents’ homes, one by one.  Such a great opportunity for us to serve the Lord.  If you are interested in participating in this important ministry, please contact Ken Fink or Church Office 479-876-5764 or churchadmin@vbcbv.org

9:00 a.m. Sunday School classes in the Fellowship Hall; teaching from the 2022 Bible Reading Plan (2022 VBC Bible Reading Plan – copies available at all entrances).

10:15 a.m. Worship Service (Communion 1^st Sunday); join us at Children & Youth Ministry for Bible Study & Worship.

STARTING AUGUST 14^TH – GRADUATION SUNDAY for Children’s & Youth Ministry - All Promotions will occur August 14^th during Sunday School hour!  Children will move to the next grade / age group.   There will be a NEW Middle School 6^th-8^th Group meeting in the Oasis; High School 9^th-12^th will meet in the Church Library.

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. OASIS Food Pantry serves +/- 240 families each month from NWA and Missouri.

6:30 p.m. Praise & Prayer Service. Open to ALL! Including Children & Youth Ministry offers P3 (Praise, Prayer & Play) for all Village Kids (PreK-6^th)
