CONGREGATIONAL MEETINGS FOR JULY 7 & 14. In accordance with our Bylaws, the congregation must approve two members to join with one elder and one pastor on the Nominating Committee. We will take nominations for NomComm from the floor in each service on July 7. Then, we will combine the list of nominees and vote on the slate the following Sunday, July 14. The NomComm is responsible for nominating the chair for these committees: Deacon, Deaconess, Trustees, Children and Youth, CORE, Discipleship, Missions, Women's Ministry, Connections, Oasis Food Pantry. The ideal candidate for NomComm will have long tenure in VBC or knows a lot of people in the church.

Come one come all! Let’s celebrate America! Walk, bring your bicycle, tricycle, motorcycle, wagon, ATV, golf cart, convertible or antique car. Decorate your vehicle to show the patriotic spirit. Wear RED WHITE & BLUE. Contact Bev Polk 479-903-2382 if bringing a car.

LOVE IN ACTION: If someone in your neighborhood or community shares a need with you, you can request help from Love in Action. Let’s spread the Good News of God’s Love! Here are a few examples of the kinds of help we can offer each other; the board game option is new!

Wellness check visits —phone or in person

Read and pray visits —phone or in person

General fellowship visits/board games

Help with housework, yard work, etc

Rides to appointments etc

Help with technology 

Childcare 

Pet care

House sitting 

Help with packing and moving 

Helping find and schedule affordable, reliable paid help when needed

LOOKING TO SERVE? CORE needs men willing to give the gift of friendship. MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY: Greet visitors at Tanyard Creek- hand out biblical tracts/share your faith. 

Fri/Sat- am or pm seem to work the best. Flexible times. 2 person teams work well.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

“NEW CLASS” ABUNDANT LIFE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL: Are you between the ages of 18-50 single, married, kids/no kids? Would you like to be part of an exciting, vibrant and challenging Bible Study? Come and join with us each Sunday at 9:00 am to 10:00 am in the Chapel Prayer Room. Childcare is provided.         

VBC 101: INTRO TO OUR BELIEFS AND MINISTRIES (Formerly Welcome Home Class)  Our VBC orientation class is from 9:00 -10:00 am. This will be in the Discipleship Room just down the hall from the Children’s Ministry check-in desk. New to the Church? Join Jim Ray as he guides us through who we are and what we believe.
