Men's Groups
Village Bible Church is committed to encouraging our men to grow through a balanced program of worship, biblical teaching, fellowship, and evangelism. There are many opportunities beyond the Sunday Worship service for our men to grow as disciples of Jesus and to have fellowship with one another. These opportunities include many ways for Men to meet, get to know one another, and to serve our church family and our community.
- Men's Fellowship and Prayer Breakfast - Every 3rd Saturday morning at 8am, a group of men, young & old, gather at the church building, for some tasty vittles & time together in the fellowship hall. Feel free to simply show up. Come, enjoy this laid-back format where men can be the way God intended us to be: as brothers.
- Discipleship Training - Various opportunities throughout the year, including Tuesday evening discipleship groups for men at the church facility, on Tuesday evenings, meeting this fall 2022. See "What's Happening" under our Events page for specifics.z
- Men's D-Groups (D is for Discipleship): Gender-specific small groups study, pray, encourage, & 'do life together'. Sound interesting? Reach out to the church office for more information.
TRUSTEE MINISTRY
The Trustee Committee exists to oversee the building, upkeep and maintenance of Church properties, as well as giving general oversight of the Church finances. The Trustees view themselves as servant leaders who help all of our ministries to be safe and secure within the Church property. Are the brass tacks your cup o' tea? We're always looking for the next trustworthy member. Reach out if you're interested in investing your God-given accumen, time & oversight into what God is doing in & through our church community.
DEACON MINISTRY
The purpose of the Deacon Ministry is to provide a variety of support, assistance and service activities for our church family. In doing so, the Deacons help to train other believers to serve.
"Pick out from among you... men of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we will appoint to this duty."
Acts 6:4
- Serving widows and others - we love serving those within our community because Jesus served us first!
